Political Opinion

Something familiar about this image

Those of us who actually live in the US know the American media is nothing but propaganda and half truths, that is why most of us do not cut and paste their propaganda on this forum.

Maybe you could start a new Thread and call it Political Propaganda, I am sure you will get a large following

You two really should get a room, there could be children watching LOL

If you are going to accuse me of name calling can you at least quote me, I really donā€™t recall address any comments your way except for asking you how your Thanksgiving was

And we are also in pursuit of positive things the Democrat party stands for, so far the list is really short, can you provide a couple

Thanks

Here you are, all of 8 hours ago

Thereā€™s no need for it. You could easily have agreed with Johnscott without that.

Easy.
Enabling a gradual transition away from fossil fuels
Improved public education to provide better qualified and more capable employees and entrepreneurs for future business
Providing a social safety net for those who need it most
Closer ties with our allies and trading partners

I donā€™t ask nor expect you to agree with these, but I see these as positive

Interesting chart with North and South Dakota at the top, two states with the least population in the country and were social distancing has been a way of life for 200 years

I am sitting here watching the Pittsburg Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens , this is a game that was scheduled for Thanksgiving but had to be postpone until today because 23 Baltimore players tested positive for covid, Now correct me if I am wrong but did not Baltimore overwhelmingly vote for Biden

I think tey are called intellectual yet idiots.

Iā€™ve met numerous people who are highly educated but still have to get mummy to tie their shoe laces.

Again I donā€™t see what this has to do with you, now if you really want to get into name calling just look at your avatar, you are name calling every time you post something , and as you said, " there is no need for it"

I do see you responded to what Democrats stand for, while your list is mostly positive, and I am onboard with all of them I donā€™t see how the Democrats are championing these, Remember I live here and I see Democrats in action every day

thanks for your response, you have a good day

All lovely buzz words that give the Democrat voters a warm and fuzzy feeling but how do they plan to achieve these wonderful goals??

Do you know?? If so please share.

And who here is my avatar name-calling?
It mocks the president-rejects behavior, nothing more than that.
When heā€™s gone, it will be gone

Yes there was a whole TV show about a guy like that

but if someone mocks your behavior you call it name calling, you canā€™t have it both ways, it you insist on mocking the out going President then donā€™t expect people to not do the same to you, It is your choice

It does read more like what he wishes the Democrat party stood for

And no push back for the things I said they do not stand for , that says a lot

So the question remains unanswered

Some answers may come soon. BLM are making noises that now the Dems have been elected, thanks to them, they want a place at the table of policy making.

Break out the beer and chips and let the games begin.

The problem with the left is that it has been hijacked by the younger generation who, instead of being taught how governments work, have been taught radical ideology that believe governments are totally responsible for the health wealth and happiness of everyone.

Nothing could be further from the truth. That is why the radical left believe that they are immuned to any self responsiblity fully believing that they have to be looked after by the government. Collectivism rather than individualism.

It is so sad really as these radicals rob themselves of the gift of self satisfaction having achieved success through hard work and ingenuity.

The problem with the hard left is most of em are wealthy individuals who have never experienced socialism

Itā€™s telling that in the US election the Florida Cuban vote was massively pro Trump and anti socialism

Even in the UK the traditional left all voted Tory because the idea of a Corbyn government was unthinkable

You are right however I will add it is not only the rich kids that have not heard of socialism middle class and poor kids as well. I appreciate that there are a number of rich elites behind ANTIFA and BLM but there are also a lot of hanger ons that are not rich but follow blindly like sheep.

The problem is in the education system and the lack of education in how capitalism socialism and other forms of governments work and the history and ideology behind them.

Marxism is rife in the education system.
