Keeping the Balance: What a President Can Do and Cannot Do
A PRESIDENT CAN . . .
make treaties with the approval of the Senate.
veto bills and sign bills.
represent our nation in talks with foreign countries.
enforce the laws that Congress passes.
act as Commander-in-Chief during a war.
call out troops to protect our nation against an attack.
make suggestions about things that should be new laws. (conflict with: enforce the laws that Congress passes.)
lead his political party.
entertain foreign guests.
recognize foreign countries.
grant pardons.
nominate Cabinet members and Supreme Court Justices and other high officials.
appoint ambassadors.
talk directly to the people about problems.
represent the best interest of all the people (conflict with: enforce the laws that Congress passes.)
A PRESIDENT CANNOT . . .
make laws.
declare war.
decide how federal money will be spent.
interpret laws.
choose Cabinet members or Supreme Court Justices without Senate approval.
and for some reason we still canât figure out who effect change in america and who have control of the people who can effect change in america.
Political issues are bought and sold in every level of government. There is no longer true representation of the people. The primary objective of every politician is re-election. Contributions to campaigns are mere purchases for favorable votes on issues of importance to the contributor and money for a politicianâs re-election; a win-win situation for the contributor and the politician.
you can play the blame game if you want, wake up on how the system works and you will realize our goverment have been bought for and sold on both sides
The U.S. Is Run by a Financial Oligarchy: The Ruling Elite, Money & the Illusion of Progress

Nobody on these boards takes issue with âGrammarâ - What you spout is concatenations of words which NOBODY understands - simply meaningless Gibberish - You are not capable of making âgramatical errorsâ - you can only talk in pictures.
Which is why we call you and your ilk
