All 4 have a connection with England, Correct?

There is a lot of bad blood between Russia and Ukraine as Ukraine sided with Germany in WWII, our involvement is only driving the two side further apart, but I guess that is the plan

If you are really American… You should know the answer to your own question!!

what is really American, are we really Americans?

Same can be ask about your country

Incorrect on 2 fronts.

Ukraine was invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany in 1941.

Like many countries there were people who collaborated with the occupiers, in the case if Ukraine a huge number of young men fought with the Red Army - in the later stages of the war around 40% of that army were Ukranian - estimated at 4.5m.

When Paulus surrendered it was to the Ukranians - sadly they lost many soldiers but they were known for their tenacity in battle , in excess of 400k medals for bravery from the Soviets were awarded.

The second point - the bad blood - it’s true that many citizens of former former USSR states have a dislike of Russia and in Ukraine it’s not different - except that there are more ties between the 2 than say Poland.

The 2 countries have (had) their respective religions happily mix, families too live (lived) and work both sides of the border - a “tangled history” as some have talked of.

Sadly any hope of closer ties between the two neighbours even with the younger generation have now gone. It will take a couple of generations to heal the scars.

Clearly they want Russia the invaders to win this war, They even suggest that Ukraine surrender, which is the most cowardly thing a man can say.

@Thebeezneez The article is behind a paywall, so in Australia it is unreadable… So lets cover the propaganda aspect of said piece…

The New York Times is a Left leaning publication and have form for backing the current administration on policy. Biden spending Billions of US taxpayer dollars in the Ukraine will always be reported on positively at any cost…

This alone takes a large chunk of validity of any articles generated by most of the US Media… The Nordstream fallout of 2022 proves just how blinkered the US propaganda machine can be…

If the US public begins to believe that a victory is unachievable or even a stalemate is inevitable, the will of the people to continue spending Billions OS while the US economy falters will have disastrous consequence’s for the current administration…

It’s been reported (Independently) that 35 Patriot’s ($4 Million per Missile!!) were launched just in this latest attempt to thwart the Russian bombardment…

Let’s wait and see if an independent newsworthy source has the ability to give factual details on what is actually taking place on the ground…

Why is Russia’s Kinzhal Missile so hard to shoot down?

First of all, it’s hard to intercept because of the altitude it flies at, which is between 30 to 40 kilometres above ground, Kaushal said, meaning it’s above the range of many lower-tier air defence interceptors but also below that of ballistic missile defence systems that operate at much higher altitudes, such as the U.S. THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defence) system.

“So, they can’t necessarily intercept the missile in mid-course, but it can do so as it’s descending towards its target,” he said. But the difficulty doesn’t end there.

When the Kinzhal is in its terminal phase and descending rapidly toward a target, it releases six decoys that “mimic the radar signature of the warhead itself,” Kaushal said.

“If an air defence system on the ground is firing interceptors, in principle, it may eliminate decoys rather than the warhead they’re actually going for,” he said.

The Military budget might get the increase they was looking for.

GOP Alarms About Government Spending Don’t Include Huge Military Budgets

WASHINGTON ― House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) rejected cutting spending on the military even as he portrayed the rising debt as an existential threat to the nation that needed to be urgently addressed in negotiations with President Joe Biden.

“Defense should not be on the table,” McCarthy told reporters after a “productive” meeting with Biden at the White House on Monday that yielded no agreement on lifting the debt ceiling.

“The national debt is like a credit card,” McCarthy told Fox News recently, employing his favorite metaphor. “Year after year after year, Washington keeps hitting the limit, so they just keep expanding it. Now, America’s credit card debt is higher than what we make in an entire year. Shouldn’t we reevaluate how Washington is spending your money?”

When they controlled the White House and both chambers of Congress in 2017, Republicans went on a massive spending spree while also cutting taxes ― without making any fuss over the debt limit. In fact, they raised the debt limit three times with no demands for multi-year caps on spending like they’re asking Biden to agree to now.

A similar fight over the debt limit played out in 2011 under a different Democratic president, Barack Obama, who ultimately agreed to cut spending equally split between defense and non-defense programs.

This time around, Republicans are insisting on actually increasing spending for the military, veterans’ care, and border security, which means that any cuts to other parts of the budget like education, health care and safety net programs would have to be even deeper to meet the GOP demands of total budget savings.

A report found Fox News follows state law to accommodate transgender employees, and right-wing critics are calling for the ‘full Bud Light treatment’

A Fox News spokesperson told Insider: “Fox News Media is compliant with all Human Rights laws mandated by the cities and states in which we operate, including New York and California.”

But right-wing critics online are trashing the network, using the report and the recent ousting of Carlson — the network’s top host who stoked controversy by spreading conspiracy theories — as justification.

Right-wing commentator and columnist for The Daily Wire, Matt Walsh, was quoted in the Daily Signal’s story, saying there’s “no daylight at all between Fox News and MSNBC when it comes to gender.”

In a tweet sharing the story, Walsh later said, “Fox needs to get the full Bud Light treatment. They are actively working to suppress conservative voices while promoting leftism in its most radical form. Enough is enough.”

Conservatives recently called for a boycott of Bud Light over its partnership with the popular trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Interesting re Russia’s Kinzhal Missile.

This missile is categorized as “Hypersonic” and in media regarded as cutting edge of the 2020’s

This is mere media hype (pun intended).

To be hypersonic the missile must reach the speed of mach 5 - Nazi Germany achieved this with their V2 in 1944.

Currently a hypersonic must reach m5 and be either hypersonic glide vehicles or hypersonic cruise missiles.
The Kinzhal is neither of these - it’s a ballistic air launch missile making it less difficult to intercept than the hgv or hcm - also whether they actually achieve m5 is open to question.

As always in the fog of war the truth can be difficult to see.

Is that how the American political system works? lmao

I have been gone for a week and there is so much sh-t going on with my corrupt government I do not know where to begin. How about a story that really is not news, government admitions now indicate there could have been as many as 200 feds among those protesters who entered the capital on Jan 6th. I have no way of knowing if this is true or not, all I know is the FBI has refused to come clean of their involvement.

Here again is Jimmy Dore doing the work that the equally corrupt news media refuses to do

I still find it amazing how outsiders still attempt to influence American politics when their country is going through difficulties. They prefer to support another man country than their own country, Hold tight, I got you, you are an outsider, I will get to you when I feel you matter
