Oh come on wheres the fun in that
heh, yeah I know.
You know, Iâm pretty sure everybody I know has said that to me, or a variation of it.
@JollyâŚwell written posts, but take 2 steps back and look at the real situationâŚIf you for instance now were to take out welfare, social security and medicare out of the equation ,you would wreck the US capitalist economy to such extent that not even a military invasion of Canada for their shell oil and maple syrup would do you any good. . However, in that case, the scenarios of secession that you obviously dream of would become quite real along with another great civil war, ofcourse. Capitalism is the best system we know so far but it is a very flawed and susceptible to corruption when paired with any other democratic, or even worse socialist system (China). You would have taken out some 2 trillion $ yearly out of this capitalist system that needs constant growthâŚHowever, if your Congress could just pass laws prohibiting your citizens to hide money in offshore bank accounts, this would make 20 trillion $ or more wealth to be taken back to US owned banks and taxed⌠Multinational companies hire over 30 MILLION foreign labor. Pass laws that dictate minimum wage of all workers in US owned companies to 5$ and see most of those jobs return back to the USâŚand so onâŚA country is not souvereign unless itâs economy is too! None of this would happen ofcourse because all the politicians take direct contributions (bribe) legally from multinationals --and isnât this because you guys gave corporations rights of citizens and person-hood or some sht lolâŚAn Empire based solely on greed and corruption of itâs original OS, lol, that is what US has becomeâŚNow we can talk about YugoslaviaâŚ
Btw, I have mentioned in 2 earlier posts I that the number 91% was the âtop bracketâ tax rate
Excerpt from todayâs article in The Hill:
The House voted to repeal ObamaCare on Thursday for the third time since Republicans took control of the chamber in 2011.
Two Democrats â Reps. Jim Matheson (Utah) and Mike McIntyre (N.C.). â sided with Republicans in the party-line vote, 229-195, while every Republican voted in favor of repeal.
It marks the 37th time the House GOP has voted to repeal or defund at least part of the bill, but this latest bill will also not become law given Democratsâ control of the Senate.

So, some Americans are against this universal healthcare because you are fearing that you will have to wait more for medical procedures and exams because everyone else will have the same access to doctors and hospitals, or?
Itâs not universal healthcare if theyâre forcing us to buy insurance.
What do you mean? Itâs National health insurance but still universal as in everyone will have to subscribe to it⌠?! Did I guess what youâre scared might happen tho?

Iâm scared that if I lose my job ill still have to pay for it or be penalized on my taxes
Iâm scared because all the small business owners Iâve talked to said theyâre gonna have to lay people off because they canât afford to pay for insurance.
Not income tax then, but?.. Also, how come youâre not scared of losing your health and losing your job as a consequence and then on top of that losing your insurance tooâŚIt has happened to millions I presumeâŚ
Also, the link that Clint has posted, of All the Republicans trying to repeal this Obamacare with everything at their disposable but in the meantime having a guaranteed medical insurance provided for lifeâŚJust for serving one term in CongressâŚYou Americans are such a strange breed, lol.
There is so much of the âlet my neighbors house burn down, IDGAFâ, mentality going around⌠Really amazing to watchâŚ
Plus all the âgoing against your best interestâ just because a big t=?)/ blonde on the Fox News told you to do soâŚis justâŚfor lols

Iâm pretty healthy I havenât been to a doctor since I was a kid. I have insurance on my boy.
And I think we should drastically cut our government compensation packages lol. But they wonât ever vote for themselves a paycut. I donât think they can anyway I think itâs an amendment lol. But they wonât ever vote for another amendment to cancel that one.
All this bill does is insure a demand. Guess who invested in insurance companies? Just like when they made auto insurance mandatory.
Itâs really high stakes gambling what you are doing⌠2014 is the beginning of Obamacare taking in effect?
Haha
What happened there?
What happened there?
Lol idk just my logic. What I assume they do. Pass bills that create false demand then invest in the companies it affects.
I like that Medicare sign.
I understand taxes konan I donât necessarily like them but hey who does. I understand we need roads signs policeman. But some of that can be privatized or contracted. If we would cut a lot of our spending to things we donât need. Like war. Or supporting foreign countries with weapons. Cut spending first donât make raising taxes the priority. Iâm on a an income like Iâm sure you are. And Iâm sure you do just what I do. Figure up how much you make and then decide how you can spend your money. You donât go buy whatever you want then find a way to increase your income do you? Why shouldnât the government have to do that?
And the IRS tax code is thousands of pages. Full of loopholes and deductions for special people or special interests. It should be fair. I know people who lay no taxes because they donât have a job. Then get thousands of dollars back every year.?.?. Wtf?
Just tax everyone a flat percent no refunds say 10-15%? And work with what you have. Or even better dont tax income and tax imports and exports like we used to.
Why do liberal people assume the government is going to make things better or help you? They donât care about you. No Government has had itâs people best interests at heart. Theyâre corrupt. Theyâre out to get you and keep their power.
Nah, I mean itâs not like your guys health insurance.
Weâll be forced to buy insurance from an insurance company. Otherwise we have to pay a penalty.
Some small businesses wonât be able to afford it. If you have > 50 employees you have to buy insurance for them.
I figure depending on what type of business Iâd own, I would either turn my employees into contractors, lay off employees to come in under the requirement, then find a way to cap my growth to only utilize just under 50 employees.
Hitting that 50 employee mark would be a huge jump in expenses.
Not too mention congress is exempt from it, along with some other businesses that were able to get an exemption from Obama.
It doesnât make any sense.
The government of the people by the people and for the people! I could name 1000 ways right now in which your government directly and indirectly made your life better since the great depression. For sure. it seems that BP server is a bit off coz Iâm not getting email notifications on timeâŚ
Makes all the sense because any of those employees getting really sick with something and not having insurance because cheap arse employer didnt want to squeeze out a few bux more for insurance, would and has put a great strain on everybody else and itâs not HUMANE to let people die like dogs without basic insuranceâŚ
No, I mean it doesnât make sense how select people canât opt out of it. How exactly is that universal? Itâs not fair and it must really be saying something if congress opted themselves out of obamacare.
Itâs not a few bux more. Itâs actually quite a bit. It can mean the difference between staying afloat and closing down the business. Profit margins on small business are pretty thin. Should I lay people off, or just close down the business where everybody loses their job? Thatâs the decision small business owners are going to be making.
I see your point though. Republicans are evil, and they believe everybody must die.
