If the MT4 gets disconnected and then reconnected nothing happens: the robot will resume control of the positions normally, no problem. It will even be able to trade according to the proper schedule even if the computer clock (or vps clock) restart with the wrong time (new in version 9) since it communicates via NTP to get its true GMT time independent of your PC clock.
ffflti1, each Forex broker has his own price feed and results are never exactly the same. Since real trading needs positions to be filled, you can have differences even with accounts with the same broker (rare but it happens) and definitely with different brokers.
The better the spreads, the better the results.
You can run many accounts but only in one computer or vps.
We recommend that if you trade the BH alone, you have about $250 minimum. If you use it together with the scalper you should have closer to $1000, so the trades of the 2 robots get a balanced number of lots, to balance the risk between them.
The real account was updated to v9 yesterday, so todays trades are on v9.
The MS has continued to struggle for me this week but the BH has been the saviour, so over time it does seem that Robert’s concept is correct, and that while one suffers the other is designed to prosper. The only pair that doesnt seem to add up yet is the USD/YEN which seems to struggle when the MS is doing well and then goes into hibernation the rest of the time (currently no trades for '12). Anybody else got any comments on the USD/YEN?
I opened a FXCM MT4 account through ATC Brokers the beginning of this month. But the min lot is 0.1 with 0.01 step above that. Did you open the account with FXCM direclty? Thanks.

i talk to them, asking about scalping, their answer "its allowed, but miniumus pips for profit is spread+4.
you can give an advice after you know this information. i think its better (for me to trade just the BH alone), agree with me?
about refund the money i see that there are more than one month with -% profit. (little loses). So in this case you will refund the money?

I opened my live account directly with FXCM. I chatted with their support personnel numerous times about the minimum lot size. As I opened their MT4 account, I had the micro lot size I needed.

I started a few demo’s after the Christmas break, with very different results. In my case, Alpari is the winner, with a small profit after the first full week of trading.
Funny enough, USDJPY gave me 4 trades with 100% winners…
If that’s the case I am happy she’s been sleeping.
The red pips have made me realign my ‘what ifs’ to reduce the yacht by 36’’ but I guess most of us are still around the 10% p.m. area?
To add to the confusion, all tests but Alpari opened long EURUSD a while ago, and Alpari opened a short EURUSD half an hour later, when all the others were in red territory. Will wait and see who wins this…
I went live on 8-Jan, trading all scalpers except for USD/JPY and not trading BH on EUR/USD (based on past performance on demo account). My broker is IBFX.
So far, my account is down 5%. Quite a number of small wins and few significant losses.
You should have them all on! BH did great yesterday and this month so far. By turning some of them off you may be taking advantage of a short down turn in trading by each one of these EA’s but in the long run - you are hurting yourselves.
Guys whatever you do stay away from Hot Forex! I have had a few mt4 freezes and trhough futher investigation using Wireshark it turned out the connection was still live yet price had been frozen. Further more I have just had my bonus removed without warning due to my account balance becomming “Low” depsite having over $1100 in free margin… and only using 0.01 lot sizes! STAY AWAY!
I’ve had a great experience with MB Trading so far. The makers of this EA recommended it to me and I definitely do as well. They don’t give you a trading bonus like that though. I feel like getting it and having it taken away from you though would be worse. I’ll stick with my own hard earned invested capital
Well I don;t mind the bonus getting taken but in the logs it specifically said, Bonus credited $742.84, then today bonus Removed $1,000.18 so somewhere theres nearly $260 missing aswell. I am collating the evidence and hoping my debit card company can help, I know visa are usually good with fraud but this seams different
Although I am almost at a 10% loss for the month so far, I have not changed my goal of the Oceanis 58. I still have my manual trading, commercial EAs and I have also been developing my own EAs which have shown to give me a fair, but not consistent, return so far.
I’m with Hotforex and they did make a mistake with the bonus when my account got low as you can’t loose the bonus untill you have earned it. The following day they made a correction into my account so was all sorted. Have you emailed them about it as I find the service very good.
With regards to freezes, I have had no problems for weeks and weeks. There was a “no connection” on the demo accounts last night for about 30mins but hey they are demo accounts and I would rather the live accounts kept going
