The Rabbit Hole

They don’t need to go to all precincts, only the ones with past records of voter fraud! Plus other departments could assist for arrests not mentioning citizens willing to volunteer. Otherwise we’re just a banana republic.

Another great link @Jen26 !

Makes one wonder why the highest accolade one can give a post is a "Like " ? :relaxed:

I have for many years beleived that David Davis was the right man to run the Party (and by extension the country) after his show of integrity in resigning his seat to fight the By Election on the issue of the sneaky withdrawal of Civil Liberties.

It seems we DO have alternatives ! :sunglasses:

What would work would to be to run ads that select voting districts would be monitored by a ICE agent and a federal marshall. Sit back and let the media go berserk and spread the word in their 24 hour news cycles. Run the ads one week before the election and let the media do your work for you. Would cut the illegal votes next to nothing. Dealing with dead voters in highly democrat districts different problem! :sunglasses::joy:

Hasn’t today been a scalpers dream hitt’in on EU. Gotta bunch.

The EU/Japan trade deal negotiations kicked off in July 2013.

Agreement in principle reached 6th July 2017, talks finalized on 8th Dec 2017.

Signing reported on many world media and on the EU site.

The WSJ has an unusual take which disregards the above time line: “how President Trump’s trade policy might drive other countries to form their own agreements” - (Gerald F. Seib, WSJ)

It’s not difficult finding someone who can do a better job than May. JRM is another contender but I think he’s happy to back Boris for now. Boris is hungry for the job which really should have been his 2 years ago, had Gove not gone backstabbing. However, I think what pushes it for Boris is that Trump wants him to be our PM. We need to patch things up with America after the disaster May has been. I would like to see David Davis back in his old role as Brexit Secretary and JRM for Chancellor.

I don’t know JRM well enough to cast a real opinion, although I recognise his magnificent input in slashing the throat of “Brexit = Remain” this week !

That brilliant speech by Boris (thanks for that link) - certainly puts him well in the forefront and we should bear in mind that he is also extremely well educated and has been socialised by his superb Father ( “Celebrity - Get me out of here” ) - He performed well enough as “Lord Mayor of London” too .

On the downside, if that is what it is - he is a “Bullingdon Club” diehard of the same Oxford class system and in fact the same year group as Cameron and Osborne.

For those who do not understand "How it all came about " here is a slightly “remain” flavoured vid from the Telegraph.

The thing they all miss tho’ is the input of James Goldsmith - who instigated the "Referendum party " - the most influential party never to have won a seat - which effectively bound Cameron to calling the Referendum - Else we would have been railroaded in without a say !

I’m long. Think my lady headed up awhile. Trump laying into the feds on rate hikes and on currency manipulation. Probably keep her through the weekend – something I rarely do.:unamused:

We don’t hear anything about James Goldsmith these days, not since he lost to Sadiq Khan. I wonder if he has anything up his sleeve of late.

Yes Boris was an excellent Mayor and well loved. Despite appearances, he has a very sharp brain, unlike Cameron and Osbourne. I’m not really bothered where they come from; it’s what they can deliver that’s important. You can’t get more of a toff than JRM, yet he connects to the people and understands them better than most of the other politicians.

Come on, be fair. It is like that on the left, for a week or so.

Do you remember in Venezuela they were chasing cows around a field shouting they were hungry? Socialism might even cure our obesity problem, so not all bad! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
