Make time to enjoy some fado one evening. This music has the most enchanting and saddest songs, originally from Lisbon, sung by the most beautiful women vocalists.
Do you think sheâs gonna smell bad?
This sounds like youâre speaking from experience!
I can imagine a trip like that. It really sounds amazing!!
Did you have a particular favorite aspect of that trip?
Yes, i did it that way - The whole trip is adventurous, but the most exiting moments were standing in Tarifa and looking to the African coastline some miles infront of us, before embarking the ferry boat to Tanger.
I took a very touristy bus tour of Morocco in my younger years. We started in Casablanca, went south to Marrakesh, then north to Rabat, then east to Meknes and Fes, ending in Tangiers. Beautiful country. Like stepping back in time.
Itâs been my dream to visit Morocco. The traditional architecture seems absolutely stunning to me.
The market places, souks, I believe theyâre called, were simply amazing to walk through. While the artisans were interesting to watch, the army of children roaming the markets looking to sell trinkets to tourists got a bit overwhelming at times.
Yes, I believe they are called souks. Iâve only seen pictures and videos of those, they look very picturesque!
Where else would you like to travel guys?
Iâd like to get back to France and Portugal. Maybe Sevilla in Spain. Eventually Split in Croatia.
I have Camino de Santiago on my checklist. Might be worth looking into if you are into backpacking.
I looked it up. That is one beautiful place!
