Sounds like a fun time!
Oh yeah! I think you mentioned this a few months into the pandemic. I remember being scared for you cause it was something super new back then. Are there still a lot of people who visit your vaccination center these days? Seems like the fear has died down.
This one’s also interesting for me. Haha. Cause, among all the other volunteer work you could’ve applied for, is there any particular reason you chose this, especially since the application process seems a bit tedious?
OMG!!! So happy for youuuu! Congratulatioooons! Getting published is such a great feat! Would you mind spilling how you got this gig or how this came to be? Haha. As a frustrated writer, this is something I’m super curious about.
In the UK we have started a new booster programme for covid a month back so we are seeing about 1500 people a day coming through our centre. the health service has invited everyone over 50 to get a new booster jab on top of the three jabs they had already. No idea yet if they will do this every year.
I got such a lot out of covid volunteering that I wanted some other active outdoors volunteering role for when the covid programme ends. The police vehicle support job came along at the right time. I’m doing both right now, they’re both rewarding.
That sounds sweet! Any favorite dish to cook or your specialty?
GOOD FOR YOU! I say you deserve it since you’re probably gonna be super busy again once school’s back. Haha.
That’s great! Everything seems to be very organized and well-planned out (at least with regards to the vaccines and boosters). I have a feeling it’s gonna be a yearly thing, cause the vaccines last for only around a year or so right?
It’s like you’re loving the experience for both of your volunteer work so far. I hope I can also eventually find the time and motivation to also spend more time volunteering.
I stream overwatch 2 if im not trading aside from eating and sleeping ofc
Like to know how to do this so my head can rest
Thanks Rose. Sincerely thoughts of the extra work ahead makes me anxious, studying law and Forex is a brain draining task. Considering the humongous amount of study both require.
getting litty, the gym, whatevers clever
When am off the screen I read books, wealth books and also try to increase my IQ…
Am trying to jump into a tech career, so I occupy my self with writing codes and doing programming stuffs, that’s work too… Well most times I watch movies, not my thing tho…
But during the weekend I got myself up with soccer and the news… A huge soccer fan by the way, probably this is just the fun thing I do…
I feel most people here in the US around my way are just over COVID and getting boosters all together. I guess we’ll see what happens in the winter months.
Ummm, I don’t envy you right now!
Covid rates are rising since the schools re-opened in September. For most of us covid is only as bad as flu. But it carries a minuscule chance of long-term side-effects. Like my brother, who hasn’t been able to taste anything for more than 18 months due to covid: he had it way back then and his sense of taste never came back yet. Can you imagine that? Better to get the jab than take that risk.
I was actually following this channel on Youtube where a family was building a house. Middle of last year the couple were staining some wood and the husband mentioned that he couldn’t smell the stain like he normally did. He just shrugged it off. And I thought to myself, COVID!
They didn’t make a video for 2 weeks. Then finally came back and said exactly that. They live on a farm, so the likelihood of them getting it was low, but the dad mentioned driving into town to pick up a pizza.
I don’t envy me
I focus on training at the gym, cooking and going through trading courses and socialising
