What's cooking?

Wow. That’s one of the realest talks I’ve heard since Patrice Oneal.

I’m not quite sure what happened here, haha. Well, he’s made a lot of money. Oh well!

And the funny thing, HE loves the drama? How about the people who watch him?

They (viewers) like when I’m upset, they like when I’m crying, they like when I’m hyper.

He loves the drama because his viewers love the drama.

YouTube’s recommendation algorithm also favours likes and comments. So content designed to elicit strong emotions performs well. Regardless of whether viewers are friends, fans or haters the advertising returns are the same.

Ain’t that something.

I don’t know much about Cambodia, but the food looks delicious…and rather unfamiliar. I can recognize not one thing in the photo below. Rice and noodles are staples for them. That’s all I know. And I see neither down there. I have no idea what I would eat first.

I’d probably just take a little bit of whatever can fit on my plate.

The food in Cambodia has been shaped by the country’s culture and history, which includes a lasting French colonial influence, as in Vietnam and Laos, not

I don’t know how much of the article below is accurate. But it certainly couldn’t hurt to enjoy a cup every now and then.

I didn’t notice all the comments in the thumbnail.

I had a feeling there were going to be people calling out violations all over the place.

That guy multi-tasked pretty well, though.

@SmallPaul was there anything in particular that you saw wrong?

I didn’t see anything that I had a much of a problem with.

In some countries, eggs are kept at room temp and nothing happens. So, for me, that’s nothing.

I enjoy watching these dudes wok it out with big flames.

Let’s get ready to rumble!

Woks particularly use big flames in restaurants. The technique is based on high heat.

If you’re worried about the gas bill for all the cooking you wanna do, biogas might be a good option.

This isn’t live—it’s in a studio. But I really liked this show. He explains cooking and science in a simple way.

At the 12:05 mark, I like how he used the bones to insulate the meat from the bottom of the pot.

Bones make great broth, so I’ve seen. I guess roasting them slightly gives a richer flavor. Any idea if roasting them changed the flavor at all?

They look good. But damn he used a lot of seasoning! Haha

And after all that, he used a sauce? But, if it tastes good, why complain?

Yeah, a little too much seasoning, I prefer to taste the smokey flavor with the bacon with no seasoning.

Doing it this way, you can still taste the chicken and bacon.

Actually, the bacon brings a lot of flavor to this dish. You really don’t need much seasoning, if any at all.

But some people like their food like this. The same way some people love to dump salt on their food.

You also have the jalapeno pepper and cheese flavor. no need to overdo it with seasoning.
