Dissapointing NFP News event and was only able to trade the tiger account. Moved too quick for me to enter the demo Ohana and I was only able to grab 16 pips initially and entered on a retracement only to meet consolidation. Now it seems too risky to know which direction the euro will go so exited at a 1 pip profit. Total 17 pips tonight on the live account.
If any of you are following providers who were in trades prior to NFP without any stops you should definately think twice about keeping them on your list. Thats plain ole gambling with your hard earned money.
After writing my last post the euro finally breaks out of consolidation. Story of my night.

I am glad to see your first trade was profitable for 17 pips. I just happened to be watching the charts when I saw the trade open. Unfortunately, it wasnât at 1.30003 but at 1.30107 for me. At that level I thought it was from another provider that unfortunately turned to risky and I have since axed. It closed almost as quickly as it opened, not at 1.30172 but at 1.30053. I forgot to account for slippage. I was starting to worry. Good news is I only lost $0.55

Was that my trade that youâre referring to. Slippage of ten pips? OMG THATS ALOT. @how come the trade didnât close at 17 when I closed it. Thatâs 7 pips at least.
Yeah it was your trade. I saw it open on my MT4 screen and thought it was odd because the initial surge in price had ended. Not sure which provider opened it, I went to the Zulu website to check. Saw it was you. Switched back over to the MT4 screen and it was closed.
I chalked it up to part of the risk of using Zulu and slippage.

I apologize for the Slippage. Normally I would enter on a pullback but I seen price action many times over the years when I figured the euro would make new highs. Unfortunately it was a weak move according to NFP standards. If I may ask, what other signal providers are you following? One day if zulu allows me I am hoping I can limit the followers on my account to maybe a hundred. With enough orders flowing at the same time Slippage and re quotes are bound to happen.

I had ForexAnomaly, and I should have never re-added him. Should have listened to the voice in my head that said he was too risky the first time I cut him.
i agree that there are very few trustworthy signal providers Zulu. I will recommend reliable signal providers like azar who I would follow with my own money. I truly believe luck should never be factored into the equation when trading as a business. Thats what casinos are there for.
I might be done for the night. 90 pips profit Ohana and 30 pips on FX_tiger22. Anyone can give me some advice on aquiring new subscribers? WVU I do appreciate you following me but its getting a little lonely here. :). I am consistently showing I set stops immediately upon entering trades and limiting my risk accordingly. If winning percentage is important, I will try my best to improve to 80% profitability on both accounts.

gkawa22, well besides trading there is nothing more you can do. Oh, and a live account and so.
But to me the most important thing is actually the trading!
I just added a positive comment and follow recommendation. I would recommend posting comments on the zulutrade page. I would hope that would boost your rankings and confidence in potential followers that you are available to discuss your traders and strategy.

Perfect Example of someone who I wouldnât want to trade with. Everything looks good until you see how many trades are taken. Commission hunter who will eventually blow up your account.I still wonder how many accounts he has started prior to this one. If all those trades end in a loss, it will definately be a big blow for those who follow. Even with Zulu guard protection, do you trust someone as such to keep trading intelligently.

A perfect example of a provider who sets no stops and relies on good olĂ© luck. Eventually luck will end. A good signal provider sets stops as he enters trades. Eddy thereâs quite a few on zulu with similar trading styles. You must be good at filtering the rubbish.
I think it is still possible as draw down per trade is currently between 70-80 pips. His maximum open positions are shorts on AUDUSD and at present price is in a historical resistance area. If he manages nicely, it is possible for him to come out without much injuries.
Even then, opening 30 positions at a time is irresponsible and cannot be accepted.

I just followed you on my live Zulu account because I like your approach. You are well disciplined in your stop loss and take profit and you communicate very well thorugh this thread. These are the things that I am looking for in a signal provider. However, when it comes to slippages , your avegage is2.9 pips compared to my other SP which are ranging only from 0.4 to 1.8 pips. Is there a way to improve this?
