My goal this year is to review all your info since I got on board late. But, I want to be consistant. I blew my first account and now with the second one I am 50-50 for about 9 months what I gain I lose. But , my capital is the same as I started so I am making progress.
I am looking to learn more about forex and make constant profit on my demo account so that in another 4 years (when I’m 18) I’ll be ready to go live!

I both love and hate this thread. It lets my thoughts get carried away with the reason why I wanted to get into FOREX and makes me think it’s easier than I am sure it is.
Fortunately, I suffer from analysis paralysis so I’ll be learning and breaking things down till I’m sure I can use real money and make profits. So till then, my goal for 2012 is to trade live and end the rest of the year profitable. In 2013, hopefully my goals are inline with all the ones previously posted.

As Robert Kiyosaki says, make the money work for you. Trading is my way of starting to get some money rolling in, then using that to buy property, rent it out, virtual real estate[profitable domains online] and stuff like that.
I’m very new to Forex but hope to make a few thousands by the year end.
be able to use an introductory brokerage
to receive enough kickbacks (pips returned after each transaction placed) and make 50% of my base margin per day until:
1.I make enough to help out my wife’s family in the Philippines,
2. I make enough to help out my grandma and aunt (mom’s side)
3. I make enough to help out and get my oldest sister out of college debt
4. I make enough tohelp out and ensure each of my family member owns a decent house
(That each of them will be able to afford from having a job of their own just paying for their insurance, taxes, and every day food and clothing and utilities bills.)
And then be able to spend time with my family full time 24/7 not trading at all but assisting others in trading, and being a full time social worker for charities I deem appropriate without waste.
And have enough time to write a book or two about God’s experience in my life.
And have enough time to write and perhaps participate in plays expressing all sorts of emotions and how to understand each emotion.
Then finally teach people and go viral on how to identify stress and how to deal and manage all the stress.
Afterwards, help others to understand the market underneath ICT (Once I succeed) and actually trade with him in person at least once before I die.
I think that wraps it up.
Bottom line, I have a goal of making 6.4 million, possibly 24.1 million dollars (but giving over 3/4ths away to family, charities, and foundations.)
I’m 26 right now.
By age 28 I desire to have made at least 500,000.00 dollars, and by age 30 I desire to have made over 3.4, and after I am around 36 successfully write two books and at least one play.
I hope I didn’t make too many goals.

Long Term Goal.
- Buy my own house with a big garden and pool.
- Own apartments for rent as my offline business.

Well, since we ARE talking dreams here, I’ll give you the long term one, cos I know it ain’t happening this year. The reason I got into Forex in the first place, was to find a way of making a living, regardless of where in the world I happened to live. I drive a cab in Glasgow, Scotland, which for obvious reasons, is impossible to do if I live in the Maldives (the early morning commute would kill me !!)
And that has always been the intention, and still is: Learn to make a consistent living, then learn to make a new life with my family somewhere bloody warmer than Scotland !!
Being a newbie myself, I’m still trading on the demo site. My goal this year is to have the same confidence trading live as I do in the demo (and to keep the gains!). At this time I do not have the time for active day trading and will make more longer-term purchases. My ultimate goal is to setup a retirement fund, as well as have a hobby to spend my retirement days. Thanks to all!
