I am using alpari live account and megadroid has no trades at all since one week , there are no errors either seems like its over. is there new setting or we just keepwaiting

I got a couple of questions here before starting my live account using MegaD running:
1)I am considering among alpariUK, FXpro, FXCBS, and ATC. Which broker do you recommend? I am more interested in the ECN broker, FXCBS, but I can see alpari is doing equally well. Do you think FXCBS is a better choice or ATC?
2)I need any assistance from anyone who can summarise an optimum settings for MD here, like the GMToffset, risk, and lots size etc.
3)Finally any good VPS for recommendation besides forexvps?

do u know why I believe in MD? coz if u read the live statement for 2007 on the website forexmegadroid.com u can see there were a series of losses too:

These are big losses, and that shows that MD is not 100% foolproof, but if u trust the system money management, you will eventually see ur profits pilling.
I dun think MD will die out, just read the statement and u can see sumtimes they dun trade for almost 1 week:

and those are definitely not the last 3 days of a month, it is in the middle of the month. So i guess if we are too hasty on getting fast profit, no bots will be suitable for our strategy and we have to trade manually. Although bots are not 100%foolproof, humans are alot worse sumtimes.
I use live account FXDD,at July only trade 1 (profitable)at 2 July.
Until now,there’s no trade at all.
It’s normal? Or the broker problem?
Do you think must change another broker for lots transaction?
What good broker you suggest?

i have the same issue with alpari. No trades. I have it set up in a vps and all configurations are fine. May be no trading conditions?
I have 5 live brokers but only one traded with smal profit for last week, no trades this week but if you want a EA that trades frequently then dont bother with MD.
Other EA’s place more trades than MD but as MD trades less and with accuracy you can up the risk as it trades less unlike frequent trade where a lower risk is called for because there is more chance of a loss.
MD sees market volatility and stays on the sidelines until the right time.
July is a slow month in general for ALL FX but MD will pull the best trades out when they come so be patient or find another loosing frequent EA.
Hope you stay with MD it will reward you eventually.
MD also wont trade the last few days at end of month because of higher volatility where everyones squared accounts for end of month and it was earnings season last month hence more volatility

can u advise me on the risk factor to take? currently wad percentage r u taking and how is it doing? Based on what BHS is doing i do not think he can achieve what is on the megadroid’s main webpage. Their lots are bigger like 1.6 for 10000 initial in 2009, and for 2005 it;s like 3.2 for the same initial deposit. I dun think they used the same risk percentage.
What do u think?
Md implies its trade on the web are live.
They are not!!
They are live streams of demo trades.
When i meet them at the seminar in london i will blast them and im not shy, they dupe many into thinking md is showing live trades on a live account.
Other than this im happy with md so far with its trades.

Sorry I cant advise but say I use between 10-20% and Max 30% I vary the risk depending on my outlook for the market in general.
I use aggressive setting and Recovery True.
GMT is only used for back test so leave it in Auto.

Oh do change S1 & S2 every week or less to stop brokers from finding your on a EA because numbers are always same, especially if everyone uses the default numbers as MD is set up first times they have more chance of broker manipulation if thats what their broker does.
Any 8 digit numbers but make sure S1&2 are always different.

yes of course ill stay. I prefer MD just because all you said about it. Im ok with 10 trades a month. I was not critizing MD, just replying to someone that it was not only “his problem”.
Okay, I think that the risk factor is to do with the stop loss, not the lot size. Coz i can see that most of Edz lot size is still quite small although u have 30% settings.
i think they are related. If you do: stop loss pips x lot size, in the worst case, if it is hit, the loose shoud be 30%.
anyway, has anyone figured out wad the aggressive and conservative setting actually do?
so if i got a 10%risk aggressive and a 20%risk conservative, which is more dangerous?

Hey bravehoststamps! You have impressive results from your mt4stats. But i have a question with your settings. You said that you used 0.05 lot risk and conservative settings? What was the leverage you used?
I used forex megadroid on a demo account using tradeview forex starting June 5. When my demo reached is 30 day trial I ended up with only 6 trades all winners. My demo balance of $1,000 earned only $56. My setting was at .10 risk and aggressive.
How come you are earning a lot more than a aggressive setting? Its quite odd. Hope you can help a chap out.
