It’s an unrealistic question, really, because the purpose of trading with a $500 account isn’t to make money. It’s to gain experience and practice.

You still haven’t said from how much capital (on demo) you made $65,000.

Work it out, from that, on a percentage basis.

Even if you manage to make 5% per month, instead of 2%, that’s still only $25 per month, if you start with $500.

But VERY few people (and no beginners) manage to make 5% steadily, per month.

Your expectations are unreasonable, aren’t they?

@LukasVisser is spot on. We would only add that another goal of a $500 account is to steadily grow it to $550. Then you have a $550 account, and you can set a new goal with that account size to grow it to $600 and so on. This site is called BabyPips after all.

As your account grows, you can increase your trade size responsibly by maintaining an appropriate level of effective leverage as discussed in this thread: How much is the minimum capital to invest?

It’s possible but very unlikely. Better of buying a lottery ticket or something. You will need a lot more money to make millions…

You can do it if you risk all your balance (trade with high leverage). But if it goes against you, you’d lose it all. But it sounds like a better deal because you COULD make $4000 from $500, so you just need to leave this trade open for a couple of days/weeks, use high leverage, and catch THAT moment when it’ll start going to the right direction (use daily and weekly chart). For that, you need luck hence it’s gambling…

So yes it’s possible with very high risk.

You keep stressing “REALISTICALLY” both in your title and in your posts, but when people who have been trading successfully (some of them for decades, not just years) mention their own experiences, and explain some of the underlying “REALISTICALLY” to you, you’re dismissive of it, with comments like “I will become a millionaire from my 500 dollars” and “Watch me as i make 4000 dollars from 500 dollars”.

It’s not a perceptive way to try to use them forum.

There’s no point in asking the opinions of people with much more understanding and experience than yourself, if that’s all you want to do when they offer it to you.
