Petition to Remove ALL ICT Threads from babypips

Don’t forget, ICT gave us the tools and the timber. It was up to us to use them to build the chair ourselves.

Here’s one I made earlier…

We will send away more fakes than we would Gurus. If someone truly wants to help, then the person shouldn’t have a problem posting a link to a myfxbook that shows that what he wants to teach is really making money. If the Gurus dry up then people will start making their own rules and testing things for themselves. Building their own systems.

Too much drama. Why the need to prolong it with this “petition”?

I discourage the use of it. I don’t post one, and people on my thread don’t either, with the exception of one. It’s a psychological deterrent that can really mess with you.

My account isn’t for public scrutiny.

Do your homework. Manually back test. Forward test on demo. You should on your own be able to decide if a methodology would work for you or not.

Go back two years and move ahead one tick at a time and see what you’re decision making would be.

Demand proof? That’s the lazy way out. If you want success, you need to put in the work and take ownership of the process you are learning.

It’s been my experience that people that want proof, want the shortcuts. They want to copy. I’m just not into that.

This forum loves drama. It’s the only explanation for the madness

Science is about proof. See where that has brought us? It keeps helping Humans cut out BS like the earth is flat, people cant fly, you cant have a realtime conversation with someone on another continent. I was brought up as a child who always asks for proof. Blind faith only applies in religion and when I am picking a girl up on the internet.

I believe you would agree with me that Scientist want proof, are they copiers who don’t want to put in the work?

Why should I go back test something when there is now an easier way to prove what you are saying is the real deal===myfxbook. Thats like saying I should walk over to my friends house to talk to him when I can just call him with my phone. An easier shorter way is not always bad.

But that is what the developer of the system had to do… He didn’t had a myfxbook to work from… Go chasing the easy fixes… I prefer to do the work and to learn while I am doing it…

I see. The developer of trinity, ote and reflection patterns proved with verifiable proof that those tools work?

Scientists test theories. They head into the laboratory. If they didn’t put in the work, we’d all still think the Earth is flat and we were the center of the universe.

Myfxbook is not proof. It’s results. You have no idea how those results came about so you would have to go and do the work.

Could you look at trades in the past? Sure.

But you lack the knowledge as to why the trade was made, as it was done on the discretion of the trader.

You still have to put in the work. There’s no way around it. There is no short cut.

Somewhat i believe that ppl on here mad not because ICT failed but because they couldnt follow his fx account and get those millions they dreamed about. Imagine if ICT can make 15% a month i can triple that right and leave my job ? How cool is that yes?

There s never a shortcut here. you just pointed that out. Guru comes in. He tells us what to do. We go to his myfxbook. Look at his past trades, everything lines up. We learn and apply.
If it works, great we made it.
If it doesn’t, we know we are the problem not the tools.

Someone telling me something is true with no proof just sounds like religion to me. Plus testing somethings on the left side of the chart will show success but when you apply it in realtime you notice it aint possible with the given indicators.

All I wanted was confirmation of the tools being used. People asked him to close the live and pending trades and leave the history for us to learn from. People asked him to delay the account update by 24 hours. All these acts would have killed off the signal seekers.

You would back test on price action, not indicators. Back testing price action always holds it worth.

Price is also an indicator. An indication of how much of A people are ready to exchange for B.
I used indicator for everything derived from demand and supply.
:17:
I cant go on. I concede.

So you made a bad chair? Who gave you the material and tools? No one.

They were shown to you, never forced upon you and never made you pay for it.

Petition to Remove ALL ICT Threads from babypips

I do not care if they are erase or not… but PLEASE REMOVE THE STICKY from the Newbie Island

I second the motion

Yes… this was my particular concern… I know the rest will fade into obscurity… but this one in particular is rather… sticky :54:

I’ll third it. Then again never understood why certain methods/strategies would get stickies in newbie island. Prefer just subjects that relate to topics that get referenced all the time. Maybe a “What broker is the best” sticky would be a prime example of sticky that reduces FAQ.

Price is not an indicator. A candlestick is an indicator. Price is evident. There is no indication needed.
