Obama administration pushes banks to make home loans to people with weaker credit - The Washington Post

That is just astounding. Perhaps more economic “drys” should join the Democrats than Republicans since they’ve become a circus with Palin, Tea Party etc.

Florida Man Assaults 16-Year-Old with Taco Bell Burrito

Congress Responds to the Deadly Burrito Attack

Congress is considering banning the importation, sale, and possession of military-style assault burritos.

One amendment to the legislation in Congress would require the states to register the owners of all burritos, whether military-style, or not.

A second amendment (no pun intended) to the legislation would ban the private sale of burritos. If this amendment becomes part of the law, all burrito sales would have to be made by federally-licensed burrito dealers, and would involve background checks of all would-be burrito buyers. Substantial federal fees would be imposed on all burrito sales.

Also, buyers of legally-purchased burritos would have to prove that the burritos were eaten, and were not used as deadly weapons, or sold illegally on the burrito black-market.

The 2013 Burrito Control Act, currently being debated in Congress is co-sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Hairy Reid, Former Speaker of the House Nasty Pelosi, and Senator Schmuck Schumer.

“Shamefull day in Washington”

HAHAHAHA!!!

Score

Second Amendment — 1

Obama — 0

Do you have to wait a 3 day waiting period to get said burrito. And if it comes in a wrapper do you need a concealed carry permit to carry it home.

Are we really thinking that the US should stop giving Visas to people based on religion? Is that not contrary to what the US stands for?

According to these guys it doesn’t seem to work well.
SSAA - Gun Prohibitionists Off Target

Well, this is weird. Violent crime didn’t seem to be affected by the gun bans
http://www.aic.gov.au/media_library/publications/facts/2011/figure03.png

Kind of funny how some of it is even mentioned on that page:
“Since 1996, the rate of assault in Australia has been far higher than any other type of violent crime. At its peak in 2007, the assault rate was 840 per 100,000 population. In 2010, the rate fell to 766 victims per 100,000 population.”

Want to know something else. The violent crime rate is higher than the U.S.
FBI — Table 1

Homicide rates are lower in Australia than the U.S.

FBI — Table 1

Hmm, but wait a minute. You guys have the gun ban to think for it right?
Not according to this:
http://www.aic.gov.au/media_library/publications/facts/2011/figure10.png

When the gun ban was enacted the homicide rate was unaffected.

It has been argued, time and time again, that if you make something hard enough to get. A new weapon will take its place.
No truth to this?
http://www.aic.gov.au/media_library/publications/facts/2011/figure12.png

Still have firearm based homicides even with the gun ban.

And again. Firearm homicide rates seem unaffected by gun ban.
http://www.aic.gov.au/media_library/publications/facts/2011/figure13.png

Don’t believe me? Look at our homicide rate in the same years
FBI — Table 1

Both have gone down respectively.

The gun ban was unsuccessful at lowering the homicide rate and increased the assault rate. Compare that to the U.S. assault data which has been declining.

Australians are fos.

one word: Chicago.

What paleo-conservative “libertarians” really stand for is small government for white Christian males, police state for everyone else. Every time a white guy shoots up a cinema or school, these guys rally to defend their right to bear weapons. But a Muslim? Lock em all up.

What you said are traits more of a conservative, not a libertarian.

Get your stuff straight before you go posting again.

That is why I used quotation marks around the word “libertarian”. These paleo-conservatives like to think they are libertarian, but really aren’t.
