New Bill - Israel gets funding while Ukraine doesn’t.

I did say SEPARATE, didn’t i?

Yes I know.

In what part of the American constitution does it say that the US must support any country blindly?

Nikki Haley Demands US Give Israel Whatever She Needs, Whenever She Needs It ’No Questions Asked’

What if American politicians loved their country this much

None. We can argue whether there should be ANY foreign aide, but if we agree there should be some, it should be based on how often that country votes WITH us at the UN.

Couldn’t it be about how the American economy benefits from the countries we give aid or how our interests can help the American economy?

Sure. And IF you vote with us at the UN. If we can’t buy votes, what’s the purpose of us being in the UN?

so who has the final say and what is the best Interest for a better world. The U.N. has called out Israel many of times and of course Israel will always vote in their best Interest The USA, but what is the best Interest for America

Voting System

Vote and Majority Required

Article 27 of the UN Charter states that:

  1. Each member of the Security Council shall have one vote.
  2. Decisions of the Security Council on procedural matters shall be made by an affirmative vote of nine members.
  3. Decisions of the Security Council on all other matters shall be made by an affirmative vote of nine members including the concurring votes of the permanent members; provided that, in decisions under Chapter VI, and under paragraph 3 of Article 52, a party to a dispute shall abstain from voting.

The Right to Veto

The creators of the United Nations Charter conceived that five countries — China, France, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) [which was succeeded in 1990 by the Russian Federation], the United Kingdom and the United States —, because of their key roles in the establishment of the United Nations, would continue to play important roles in the maintenance of international peace and security.

They were granted the special status of Permanent Member States at the Security Council, along with a special voting power known as the “right to veto”. It was agreed by the drafters that if any one of the five permanent members cast a negative vote in the 15-member Security Council, the resolution or decision would not be approved.

All five permanent members have exercised the right of veto at one time or another. If a permanent member does not fully agree with a proposed resolution but does not wish to cast a veto, it may choose to abstain, thus allowing the resolution to be adopted if it obtains the required number of nine favourable votes.

If the Democrats had any pride in their states and cities, they wouldn’t allow this to happen.

Oak Park boosts aid for asylum seekers, allocating over $1M for support

OAK PARK, Ill. - The Village of Oak Park Board of Trustees approved a motion Monday night that would reallocate $500,000 in unspent American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to provide aid to asylum seekers through Feb. 6, 2024.

The funding to support asylum seekers is added to a pool of $550,000 that was established previously, bringing the overall total to $1.05 million.

This includes $400,000 in Supporting Municipalities for Asylum Seeker Services (SMASS) grants and $650,000 in ARPA funding as lost revenue in the village’s general fund.

A separate resolution that would declare an emergency disaster through Feb. 6, 2024, was also approved by the Board of Trustees.

It appears the Winds of Change are sweeping across the Globe… Many Nations are sick and tired of seeing their economies deliberately decimated and their quality of life being destroyed…

The man they are labelling the Dutch Trump has convincingly won the Netherland Election…

Voters are seeing right wing populism as the antidote to the failed “magic pudding” of Leftist socialism. What we are seeing globally is the failure of the left to reflect on their ridiculous policies and sinister totalitarian tendencies.

Just like in the Europe… I’m sure the good people of South America have had a gutful of their politicians and would elect Mickey Mouse just to get their Socialism Exercise over and done with…

As has happened in Argentina this week with their new populist President Javier Milei…

Appears Global populations have had enough of economy destroying incompetence and blatant corruption of self serving Leftist Politicians with illogical policies and agendas…

Based on Javier Milei’s vision for Argentina, he would make a great leader.

The situation in Europe, however, is a total mess.

Angry scenes in Dublin tonight as news breaks that an Algerian immigrant given Irish citizenship is responsible for the mass stabbing attack earlier today…

Ireland want to be in the EU… You know… Freedom of movement etc, etc… And now they’re complaining when the obvious happens!.. Should’ve maybe listened to Baroness Foster instead of rubbishing her every chance you got… Too late now…

When you welcome the Peaceful people with peaceful beliefs into your country, they won’t stop living a Peaceful life like they do in their Peaceful countries…

Will Europe be able to save itself or is it already too late?

Anti-immigration rioters in Dublin torched vehicles and looted stores after a knife attacker injured 3 children

Irish police said that the destruction could be blamed on far-right agitators who chanted anti-immigration slogans as they rioted, according to RTE.

“We have a complete lunatic hooligan faction driven by far-right ideology, and also then this disruptive tendency engaged in serious violence,” Drew Harris, the commissioner of Garda Síochána, said on Thursday.

Ireland’s Minister for Justice Helen McEntee also condemned the rioters as anti-immigration agitators.

“This is not about immigration, this is not about the young children who are in hospital this evening,” she said. “These are criminals and thugs who have come into our city center and used a horrific attack on innocent children for their own gain and their own benefit.”

Increasing numbers of immigrants are flooding Europe, But who is behind it and Why is it so difficult to stop the flow of immigrants into Europe?

Mass migration is changing the nature of Britain forever – we must act now

The migration figures published on Thursday are extraordinary. In the 12 months to June, an astonishing 1.2 million people moved to the UK, the vast majority arriving from outside of the EU. Net migration stands at 672,000, three times higher than its pre-Brexit peak. Given the Conservative Party’s 2019 manifesto commitment to reduce net migration, these numbers are a body blow to any claim that we are keeping our promise to voters.

@SmallPaul Shouldn’t you be asking… Increasing numbers of immigrants are flooding across the US Southern Border, But who is behind it and Why is it so difficult to stop the flow of immigrants into the US?

It’s difficult to stop legal immigration as these numbers show (Brexit was promised to put a halt) and equally difficult to stop illegal immigration.

Why is it happening now and not in the same numbers in the past? - when you look at the detail for the UK legal immigration one word shouts loudest - work.

Even the rise in student numbers has the caveat that increasing numbers of students apply successfully for work visas.

As for asylum seekers - UK law says not allowed to work.

Ah, You just can’t help yourself, can you? Your only focus was bashing the U.S.

What is the general feeling among Brits about this?

Not the US… Just you…

Nothing but cold hard facts… Then it’s warm and fuzzy cut and paste when you post…

Bullshite… If Australia could protect it’s borders and stop illegal immigrant’s…

What’s stopping the UK and the US???

“Australia absolutely wrote this playbook - and we’re still writing it,” says Australian National University politics lecturer Kim Huynh, whose family fled Vietnam for Australia via boat in the 1970s.

At the height of the illegal immigrant crisis, right-wing Liberal Party leader Mr Abbott promised to implement border rules even tougher than the outgoing Labor left wing government…

I think that paragraph tells us all we need to know…

You posted something about Europe, and you had to go back to bringing up America. You can’t even touch upon the topic you posted. it’s all about America isn’t it.

Exactly, there can be no doubt about the facts
