When you stay in FR market with enough time, you will find out the answer by yourself. The important thing is you have enough patient to go with it until the right time comes.
Each trader has different strategy, lifestyle, personality, so this strategy works well with you but it may not work with the others. Like most of traders use the SL but some doesn’t use it but they are still profitable. That’s why I say you will find it out by yourself. Only you know which one suits to you the most.

Profitable traders on the market are happier than losers. But this profitability depends on the strategy you follow.
Profit is the target of all traders but they cannot be doing so. Traders should more and more focus on skill development.
Traders can maintain profit in trading on average if they maintain risk management policy.

Simplest way to put it is consistency is key 
. Learn how to be consistent with : trading , risk management, and planning/execution .
